Ontario Elite Patio Covers provides professional gazebos & pavilions in Ontario, CA for residential and commercial properties across the Inland Empire. A gazebo or pavilion is a roof on posts standing in the open with nothing around it. In wind terms that is the least forgiving thing you can build, and it is also exactly why they look so good in a yard.
The shape works against you. A hip or gable roof on six columns has pressure acting upward across the whole plane and no wall anywhere to take sideways load. Every column has to do structural work in two directions, and the connection at the top of each one matters every bit as much as the footing beneath it.
We drill piers, cast the anchor bolts and bolt the base plates down. Knee bracing goes in wherever the span or the height calls for it, and on exposed lots we will suggest a solid panel on the windward side. It reads as a design feature and it does a great deal of structural work quietly.
Roofs in the open collect. A standalone structure takes leaf litter, seed and the season's particulate on top, and nothing sheds any of it until the first rain. Pick a pitch that genuinely drains, keep gutters off it unless you want to clean them, and plan a hose-down before the wet season rather than after.
Siting deserves more thought than the structure itself. Set it where the block wall or the house breaks the offshore flow and the space is usable on days the rest of the yard is not. Set it in the middle of an open lot for symmetry and you will find yourself using it three months a year.
Anything this size goes through the City of Ontario as a permitted structure with stamped engineering, and most planned communities want to see pitch, colour and location before the city does. We prepare both sets of drawings from the same model so that the two cannot disagree.
With 15+ years of experience, our licensed and insured team brings the right materials and equipment to every job — foam-core insulated roof panels, powder-coated extruded aluminum, embossed wood-grain composite beams, engineered concrete pier footings, designed uplift hold-down connections, louvered adjustable-pitch systems — and backs the work with a written workmanship warranty. We serve Ontario and nearby communities including Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Chino, Chino Hills.

Materials, equipment and how we do gazebos & pavilions
The difference between gazebos & pavilions that lasts and gazebos & pavilions that gets redone in three years is almost always preparation and materials, not the finish you see on day one. We work with foam-core insulated roof panels, powder-coated extruded aluminum, embossed wood-grain composite beams, engineered concrete pier footings, spec them to the job instead of to the invoice, and write the material grades into the free estimate so you know exactly what you are buying.
Every Ontario job runs the same way: site walk and measurements, written scope and fixed price, protection of the surrounding area, then the work itself with a daily clean-up. 15+ years of patio cover work in the Inland Empire means we have already met whatever your property is going to throw at us — awkward access, older construction, an HOA with opinions.

The standards behind gazebos & pavilions
Quality here is not a matter of opinion — it is written down. The gazebos & pavilions work we do in Ontario follows published industry standards: International Code Council writes the IRC provisions that govern attached covers and their footings, and FGIA sets the wind-load performance standards for glazed and framed products. If a contractor cannot tell you which standard a detail comes from, that is worth asking about before you sign.
Every gazebos & pavilions project in Ontario gets the same attention, whether it is a single room or a full commercial job. We show up on schedule, keep the site clean, and stand behind the work — the estimate is free and there is no pressure.
